How balloons are made: on the dutch tv there was a tvshow for children, where children can ask a question: Willem Wever. the question is: how balloons are made ? click on the link to see the movie. click HERE and go to 16:24 minutes What balloons you need for balloon folding ? I always use 260Q balloons, because the are firm and have a nice lenght. In the shop there are often cheap balloons. Do not buy them because they always pop. On the shopping page of my website there is a shop i have good results. Below a short explain of the used numbers and letters. 260Q= 2-60-Q - The first number is the thickness of the balloon. Number 2 is a good number to work with. A thinner balloon will popping faster and a thicker balloon is difficult to twist. - The second and the third number is the length of the balloon. example: On a 260Q :number 60. If you blew up this balloon it's 60 inches /152,4 cm. 60 inches is the most used size of balloonfigures. - The last letter tells us which fabric the balloon is made. Ik used in the example a Q=Qualatex. other letters are: S=sempertex of suzukilatex P=prestige, N=neolatex G=granger T=tilly B=bettalatex |
